Discovery and export feasibility assessment
We audit the Talent Genie instance to identify all active objects, custom scorecard templates, pipeline stage configurations, custom properties, and the estimated record volume across Candidates, Jobs, Users, and submitted scorecard evaluations. We assess the bulk export portal's capacity and confirm whether session-layer scripting will be required to pull complete record sets. We also identify any archived or paused jobs and any candidate records with large attachment files that may require chunked transfer. The discovery output is a written migration scope, record count estimate, and export method recommendation.
Scorecard template extraction and schema mapping
We extract the live scorecard template from Talent Genie including all rating criteria, scale types, mandatory or optional flags, and weighting rules. We cross-reference this against all submitted scorecard evaluations in the instance. We then configure matching scorecard templates in Recruit CRM, create the corresponding custom candidate fields for social media verification flags, and define the field-level mappings for every custom property discovered during the audit. Bulk export and session-layer data pull
We run the Talent Genie bulk export from the admin portal for all supported objects. All exported files are validated for row counts, field headers, and data integrity before transformation begins.
Data transformation and audit trail reconstruction
We transform the exported Talent Genie data into Recruit CRM import format, applying the field-level mappings defined in step two. The audit trail event log is parsed to extract actor, action, and timestamp, then reconstructed as structured activity records in Recruit CRM. Social media verification flags, custom properties, and scorecard evaluation data are all transformed to their destination types. A reconciliation report is generated comparing total record counts per object in the source export against the transformed dataset.
Staging migration and validation
We run a full migration into Recruit CRM in staging mode to validate the data, test the scorecard configuration, and confirm that pipeline stage mapping renders correctly in the Kanban view. The customer spot-checks a sample of candidate records, job records, and interview scorecards against the Talent Genie source data and signs off the staging results. Any mapping corrections are applied before production migration proceeds.
Production cutover and delta migration
We establish a migration cutoff checkpoint and run a final delta export to capture any Talent Genie records created or modified after the initial export. The delta is transformed and applied to Recruit CRM following the same mapping and validation process. Once reconciliation passes, we enable Recruit CRM as the system of record and deliver the automation and workflow inventory document to the customer's admin for rebuild. We support a one-week post-cutover window to resolve any data issues raised by the team.
