Design Mailchimp audience schema and merge tag structure
We create the Mailchimp audience with the standard FNAME, LNAME, EMAIL, PHONE, and COMPANY merge fields, then add custom merge tags for Jonas-specific data: JONAS_CREATED, JONAS_MODIFIED, JONAS_CONTACT_ID, JONAS_CUST_NO, PROJECT_TAG, CONTRACT_NO, PROJECT_ROLE, JONAS_PARENT, and INDUSTRY. When the same email appears with different name formats across modules, we apply a best-record-wins rule using last-modified date to select the most current name and field values. Contacts without valid emails are excluded from the migration set and reported separately. The deduplicated set generates the Mailchimp import CSV with all merge tag columns populated.
