Overview
Moving from Plezi to Monday.com CRM is a structural migration that separates data transport from workflow reconstruction. Plezi's Contact, Company, Campaign, and Tag records migrate directly into Monday.com's People, Organizations, and board-based Items. Plezi's Smart Campaign automation logic and Workflow step sequences are not portable because they are stored in a platform-specific format that cannot be exported as runnable definitions; we reconstruct the intent from the export and deliver a written automation map for your admin to rebuild in Monday.com's Automation Editor. Landing Pages and Forms similarly do not migrate as assets because Monday.com CRM does not include a native landing page builder; we document the page structure, form field list, and target pipeline stage assignments so your team can recreate them in Monday.com Forms or a paired landing page tool. The migration is scoped to records and their associations; Monday.com Work Management boards and project data are a separate scope if that layer also needs to move.
Every standard and custom field arrives verified.
AI proposes the map; you confirm before any record moves.
Parent–child, lookups, and ownership stay linked.
Calls, emails, meetings — with original timestamps.
Documents, uploads, and inline notes move with the record.

Object mapping
Each row shows how a Plezi object lands in monday CRM, including any object-level transformations, lookup resolution, or schema-design dependencies.
Typical mapping — final map is confirmed during the sample migration step.
Plezi
Contact
monday CRM
People (Contact record)
1:1Plezi Contacts migrate to Monday.com CRM People records. Standard properties (name, email, phone, company) map directly to the corresponding People fields. The behavioral scoring profile and lifecycle stage from Plezi are preserved as custom Columns on the People record; if the customer uses Basic CRM, these custom Columns are added manually post-migration because scoring requires the Standard tier or above. We flag any Contacts with invalid or missing email addresses during deduplication and present a cleanup list before import.
Plezi
Company
monday CRM
Organization
1:1Plezi Company records migrate to Monday.com CRM Organizations. Company name, domain, industry, and custom properties map to Organization fields. The Organization is created before any linked People import so that the relationship is resolved at insert time. If the destination Organization has an identical domain or name to an existing Monday.com Organization, we flag for deduplication review before committing the import.
Plezi
Campaign
monday CRM
Board (dedicated CRM board)
lossyPlezi Campaign records represent individual marketing initiatives with dates, channels, and budget fields. We create a dedicated Campaign Board in Monday.com CRM where each Campaign becomes a Group. Campaign metadata (type, start/end dates, budget) is stored as Columns on the Board. This is a structural choice that allows the customer to track campaign attribution alongside People and Organization data.
Plezi
Tag
monday CRM
Tags (on People and Organization)
1:1Plezi Contact tags migrate to the native Tags feature on Monday.com CRM People and Organization records. Tag names and associations are preserved verbatim. Tags used for segmentation are documented with the segmentation criteria so that the customer can rebuild equivalent segments using Monday.com's Group and filtering features.
Plezi
Smart Campaign
monday CRM
Automation documentation (manual rebuild)
1:1Smart Campaigns are Plezi's core automation engine and cannot be exported as runnable logic. We reconstruct each Smart Campaign's intent by exporting trigger events, conditional rules, and action sequences from the source data. The output is a written automation inventory with trigger type, conditions, delay steps, and action list for each Smart Campaign, mapped to a recommended Monday.com Automation Editor equivalent. The customer's admin rebuilds these in Monday.com post-migration.
Plezi
Workflow
monday CRM
Automation documentation (manual rebuild)
1:1Plezi Workflows manage multi-step nurture sequences linked to Contacts and Companies. We export the step sequence and associated content blocks but note that dynamic personalization steps cannot be auto-reproduced. The written workflow inventory covers each step's sequence, delay, and content reference with a recommended Monday.com Automation Editor mapping.
Plezi
Landing Page
monday CRM
Documentation (manual rebuild)
1:1Plezi Landing Pages are standalone assets with URLs, form associations, and embedded third-party content. We export page title, slug, and form reference. Embedded third-party widgets (webinar iframes, live chat scripts, custom JavaScript) cannot be extracted during export and are documented as items requiring manual recreation. The customer rebuilds pages in a landing page tool of their choice and connects them to Monday.com Forms.
Plezi
Form
monday CRM
Monday.com Form (manual rebuild)
1:1Plezi Forms capture leads and feed them into Smart Campaigns. We export form field names, required flags, and target pipeline stage assignments. Form field types are mapped to the closest Monday.com Form field equivalents. The customer rebuilds the form in Monday.com Forms and reconnects it to the relevant CRM board Group post-migration.
Plezi
User (team member)
monday CRM
User
1:1Plezi User accounts (name, email, role) are exported for mapping to Monday.com CRM Users. Plezi-specific role names require manual review against Monday.com's permission model (Admin, Member, Viewer, Guest). We map the role where a direct equivalent exists and flag roles that require manual reassignment in Monday.com.
Plezi
Marketing Asset (email HTML)
monday CRM
Documentation (manual rebuild)
1:1Emails and content blocks used inside Plezi Smart Campaigns and Workflows are exportable as HTML and text variants. We carry over the HTML body and subject line as a written asset inventory entry. Inline images may require re-hosting at the destination. The customer rebuilds email templates in Monday.com's Email Templates or connects their preferred email sending tool via an integration.
Plezi
Score Profile
monday CRM
Custom Columns (post-migration)
lossyPlezi Contacts carry behavioral scoring profiles that determine lead quality and routing. These scores migrate as numeric values stored in a custom Column on the People record. Rebuilding the scoring logic as a Monday.com automation (using Column updates triggered by activity) is documented in the automation inventory but not implemented during data migration.

Migration approach
Discovery and API access scoping
We audit the Plezi account across all objects: Contact volume, Company volume, Campaign count, active Smart Campaigns, active Workflows, Landing Page count, Form count, User count, and Tag inventory. We also verify API access permissions with Plezi's customer success team since export documentation is not publicly prominent. If the destination account already has Monday.com Work Management boards, we inventory those and identify any consolidation scope with the CRM migration. The discovery output is a written migration scope with record counts, object list, and automation handoff deliverables.
Deduplication and data quality pass
We export the full Contact and Company dataset from Plezi and run a deduplication pass on email address and company domain. Dirty records (missing email, duplicate names, inconsistent formatting) are presented to the customer for resolution before import. We also extract the Smart Campaign trigger-action sequences, Workflow step lists, and email HTML assets as the basis for the automation inventory document. This step prevents migrating duplicates into Monday.com, which is harder to clean up post-import than the source.
Monday.com CRM schema setup
We configure the Monday.com CRM account before data import: creating the People board with custom Columns matching the Plezi property schema, creating the Organizations board, and setting up the Campaign board with Groups per Plezi Campaign. If the customer is on Basic CRM and needs scoring columns, we add those as custom Columns and note that dynamic scoring automation requires Standard tier or above. Tags are enabled on People and Organization records. Users are provisioned by the customer's admin based on the User mapping we deliver.
People and Organization import
We import Organizations first (from Plezi Companies) so that the relationship to People is resolved at insert time. People records (from Plezi Contacts) are imported second with the Organization lookup resolved per record. Scoring values and lifecycle stage values migrate as custom Column values. Tag associations are mapped to Monday.com Tags. Each phase emits a reconciliation row count against the source export so the customer can spot-check before the next phase.
Campaign board and supporting assets
We create the Campaign board with Groups representing each Plezi Campaign. Campaign metadata (type, start/end dates, budget) is stored as Columns. We deliver the automation inventory document covering every Plezi Smart Campaign and Workflow with trigger, conditions, actions, and a Monday.com Automation Editor equivalent recommendation. We also deliver the Landing Page and Form documentation with field lists and rebuild guidance. Email HTML assets are delivered as a content inventory with file attachments.
Cutover, validation, and handoff
We freeze Plezi writes during the cutover window, run a final delta migration of any records modified since the initial export, then mark Monday.com CRM as the system of record. We deliver the automation inventory, landing page documentation, form rebuild guide, and email content inventory to the customer's admin team. We support a five-business-day hypercare window to resolve reconciliation issues raised by the team. We do not rebuild Smart Campaigns, Workflows, Landing Pages, or Forms inside the migration scope; those are separate tasks for the customer's admin or a Monday.com implementation partner.
