Overview
SendCloud is an e-commerce shipping platform, not a CRM. Migrating from SendCloud to Pipedrive is a tool-category transition that requires scoping which data carries forward and which must be reconstructed in Pipedrive or an alternative shipping tool. We export address books, contact-linked shipment records, user team assignments, and custom field schemas from SendCloud. Parcel-level shipping data, carrier routing rules, and label configurations have no direct Pipedrive equivalent; we document these as a rebuild inventory rather than a data migration. Webhook subscriptions, shop platform integration credentials, and carrier API connections are catalogued for re-establishment post-migration. The primary value of this migration is consolidating customer address data and team ownership structures into a CRM that supports sales pipeline management, which SendCloud does not provide.
Every standard and custom field arrives verified.
AI proposes the map; you confirm before any record moves.
Parent–child, lookups, and ownership stay linked.
Calls, emails, meetings — with original timestamps.
Documents, uploads, and inline notes move with the record.

Object mapping
Each row shows how a SendCloud object lands in Pipedrive, including any object-level transformations, lookup resolution, or schema-design dependencies.
Typical mapping — final map is confirmed during the sample migration step.
SendCloud
Address
Pipedrive
Person + Organization
1:manySendCloud stores ship-from and ship-to addresses linked to Shipments. Ship-to addresses map to Pipedrive Person records (address fields in the Person object). Ship-from addresses (merchant warehouse or fulfillment locations) map to Pipedrive Organization records representing the business entity. We preserve original address formatting, validate against Pipedrive field length limits, and flag addresses with incomplete data (missing postal code, country) for pre-migration cleanup.
SendCloud
Parcel
Pipedrive
Note (linked to Person)
1:1SendCloud Parcel records with a linked customer email or reference number map to Pipedrive Note records attached to the corresponding Person. The Note body carries parcel reference, carrier, tracking number, weight, dimensions, and status. This preserves shipment context against the customer record rather than creating a standalone shipping object that Pipedrive does not support. We flag that tracking status updates and live tracking URLs are not migrated as active webhooks; these require reconfiguration at the destination or with the new carrier integration.
SendCloud
Shipment
Pipedrive
Activity (Task)
1:1SendCloud Shipment records map to Pipedrive Task records representing shipping events linked to the Person. The Task subject carries shipment reference, carrier, and estimated delivery date. Shipment status changes (dispatched, in transit, delivered) migrate as historical Task completion records with timestamps preserved. Active in-transit shipments at migration time are flagged for manual status update post-migration.
SendCloud
Return
Pipedrive
Person Note + Activity
1:1SendCloud Return records map to Pipedrive Note records on the Person (carrying return reason, RMA number, return label status) plus a Task record for the return processing activity. Return portal status (pending, received, refunded) migrates as a custom field choice on the Note. Return workflow configurations (reason codes, label templates, return-to-address) are inventoried but not migrated; these require manual reconfiguration at the destination platform or a dedicated returns management tool.
SendCloud
Custom Fields (Parcel, Return)
Pipedrive
Custom Fields (Person, Organization)
1:1SendCloud custom fields added to Parcels and Returns on applicable plans map to Pipedrive custom fields on Person and Organization. We inventory the custom field schema during scoping, match field types (text, number, date, picklist) to Pipedrive equivalents, and pre-create fields in Pipedrive before migration. Custom fields with no equivalent Pipedrive type are flagged for customer review during scoping.
SendCloud
User
Pipedrive
User
1:1SendCloud user accounts (with role assignments tied to shipping operations) map to Pipedrive User records for team ownership mapping. We extract the user list by email, map to existing or provision new Pipedrive users, and use the User mapping to set OwnerId on migrated Person and Organization records. Permission structures are platform-specific and require manual review post-migration.
SendCloud
Carrier
Pipedrive
Custom Field (Carrier)
lossySendCloud carrier integrations (DHL, UPS, FedEx, regional carriers) do not have a Pipedrive equivalent object. We map carrier names to a Pipedrive custom picklist field on the Person or Note record so that shipment history retains carrier attribution. Carrier-specific rate negotiated rates are not migrated (stored in SendCloud's internal rate tables); this is flagged during scoping as requiring direct carrier re-negotiation or rate-porting.
SendCloud
Webhook Subscriptions
Pipedrive
Webhook Inventory (document)
lossySendCloud webhook endpoint configurations (Parcel status change, shipment event, return update) are exported as a written inventory document listing endpoint URLs, event types, and payload schemas. We do not recreate webhooks in Pipedrive because Pipedrive does not have an equivalent webhook-driven shipping notification system. The inventory is handed off for the customer's developer to integrate with their new shipping platform post-migration.
SendCloud
Integrations (Shop Platform)
Pipedrive
Integration Inventory (document)
lossySendCloud native integrations with Shopify, WooCommerce, Magento, PrestaShop, and other shop platforms are inventoried with active API credential references. We document which integrations require new credential rotation and new webhook endpoint updates post-migration. Pipedrive's native Shopify and WooCommerce integrations handle CRM-side sync; the shop platform must be reconnected to Pipedrive with updated credentials.
SendCloud
Label Format Preferences
Pipedrive
Label Format Inventory (document)
lossySendCloud label format preferences (branding, label size, carrier-specific formatting) are documented as a configuration inventory rather than migrated data. Pipedrive does not generate shipping labels. The inventory is handed off for the customer to configure in their new shipping platform or carrier dashboard.

Gotchas + challenges
Platform-specific issues from each side, plus the pair-specific challenges that don't show up on either platform's page on its own.
SendCloud gotchas
Carrier-specific rate negotiated rates do not transfer
Webhook and integration credentials must be re-established
Free tier parcel cap is easy to exceed during migration
Return workflow configurations are account-specific
Pipedrive gotchas
Custom field hash keys differ per account
Export access gated by visibility groups
Token-based API rate limits since December 2024
Sequences and Automations not exposed via REST API
Cost escalates via workflow caps and add-ons
Pair-specific challenges
Migration approach
Discovery and SendCloud plan scoping
We audit the SendCloud account across plan tier (Free, Lite, Growth, Premium, Enterprise), exportable object volume (Parcels, Shipments, Returns), custom field schema, user count, active webhook subscriptions, and shop platform integration inventory. We pair this with a Pipedrive edition assessment: Essential ($14/user) covers basic Person and Organization migration; Advanced ($29/user) adds custom fields and additional pipelines; Professional ($49/user) enables full automation and reporting. The discovery output is a written migration scope defining what migrates, what maps to Notes and Tasks, and what requires a rebuild inventory.
Address deduplication and Person-Organization split
We extract all ship-to and ship-from addresses from SendCloud Shipment records. Ship-to addresses map to Pipedrive Person records using email as the dedupe key where available. Addresses without email are deduplicated by full name plus address string. Ship-from addresses (merchant locations) map to Pipedrive Organization records. We run deduplication against existing Pipedrive data if present and flag duplicates for resolution before migration begins.
Custom field schema creation in Pipedrive
We pre-create all Pipedrive custom fields to match the SendCloud Parcel and Return custom field schema. Field types are matched (text, number, date, picklist) to Pipedrive equivalents. Fields with no Pipedrive equivalent are documented for customer review. Custom fields are created in Pipedrive before any data import to ensure field IDs are stable for mapping during the migration run.
User reconciliation and Owner provisioning
We extract every distinct SendCloud user referenced on Parcel, Shipment, and Return records and match by email against the Pipedrive destination account's User table. Users without a matching Pipedrive account go to a reconciliation queue. The customer provisions any missing Pipedrive users before record migration resumes. OwnerId references are required on Person and Organization imports, so this step gates the data migration.
Production migration in dependency order
We run production migration in record-dependency order: Pipedrive Users (manual provisioning validated), Organizations (from ship-from addresses), Persons (from ship-to addresses with email dedupe), Notes (Parcel context attached to Person), Tasks (Shipment activities attached to Person), Tasks (Return processing attached to Person), and custom field values on Person and Organization records. Each phase emits a row-count reconciliation report before the next phase begins. Webhook and integration inventories are delivered as documents alongside the data migration.
Cutover, validation, and shipping rebuild handoff
We freeze SendCloud writes during cutover, run a final delta migration of any records modified during the migration window, then enable Pipedrive as the CRM of record for sales and customer data. We deliver the webhook, integration, return workflow, and label format rebuild inventories to the customer's developer and ops team. We support a one-week hypercare window where we resolve any data reconciliation issues. We do not rebuild shipping automations, carrier integrations, or return portal configurations in Pipedrive; these require a dedicated shipping platform post-migration.
