Synergy Matters is a legal practice management platform built around the Matter — a bundled record containing client information, documents, bills, disbursements, and staff assignments tied to specific legal cases. HighLevel is an all-in-one CRM designed for agencies and service businesses, organizing data around Contacts, Companies, and Opportunities with visual pipeline builders and workflow automation. These platforms use fundamentally different data models, making migration about restructuring legal-specific records into CRM-native structures. FlitStack AI migrates contacts, company associations, and matter metadata from Synergy Matters into HighLevel's CRM object model. We create a Custom Object for Matters so your legal case data has a persistent record in HighLevel, with matter-contact relationships preserved via junction records. Financial records (bills, disbursements, time entries) migrate as reference data in custom fields — HighLevel has no native billing engine, so these must remain in a dedicated legal accounting tool post-migration. We do not migrate legal-specific automations, document templates, court deadline reminders, or workflow logic — those must be rebuilt in HighLevel's Workflows feature. The migration uses HighLevel's Bulk Contacts API and CSV import mechanisms, sequenced to resolve foreign-key dependencies before records land in their final state.

Sequence migration: Companies, Contacts, Matters, then financial records
We sequence the migration to resolve foreign-key dependencies correctly. Companies migrate first (they are standalone). Contacts migrate next and resolve to their linked Company. Matter Custom Objects migrate after Contacts so the primary contact lookup can resolve. Junction records (MatterContact) migrate after both Matter and Contact exist. Time entries and billing records migrate last, linking to their parent Matter Custom Object. This sequencing ensures every foreign key resolves correctly in HighLevel.
Run sample migration with field-level diff
A representative slice migrates first — typically 100–200 records covering a sample of matters, contacts, companies, and attachments. We generate a field-level diff showing source values from Synergy Matters and destination values in HighLevel for every mapped field. You verify matter metadata mapping, contact-matter relationship integrity, staff assignment resolution, and financial reference accuracy before the full run commits.
Full migration with delta-pickup window
The full migration runs against HighLevel's Bulk Contacts API and Custom Object API. A delta-pickup window (typically 24–48 hours) captures any Synergy Matters records created or modified during the cutover. We run post-migration validation including record counts per object, junction relationship integrity, file attachment verification, and custom field population checks.
