In its favor

Why people choose Beehire

The signal that keeps Beehire on the shortlist. Sourced from G2, Capterra, and customer scoping calls.

Multiposting to 1000+ job boards in a few clicks saves significant manual effort compared to posting to each board individually, especially for roles that need broad European coverage.

A free coaching session on the Starter plan gives small HR teams a guided onboarding path that reduces time-to-first-hire.

Unlimited candidate storage across all tiers means growing companies never face a record-limit wall during active hiring surges.

Multilingual job pages and career pages are built-in without requiring a separate CMS, reducing the number of tools a small team must manage.

Compatibility scores and automatic candidate sorting reduce manual screening work on high-volume applications.

The jump from Starter (1–10 jobs) to Pro (30 jobs) with a significant price increase (€80 → €320/month) forces growing teams to upgrade sooner than expected.

The absence of a documented public API makes Beehire a closed system: integrations with custom HR tools or bespoke reporting require workarounds.

Employer branding assets built inside Beehire's page builder are not portable; rebuilding multilingual careers sites on a new platform takes time.

Pro-tier-only features like automated workflows and custom email templates mean that mid-market teams lose core automation when they downgrade or move.

Smaller teams report that the interface, while easy to use initially, lacks depth for complex, multi-stage hiring pipelines.

Platform scorecard

Strengths, weaknesses, and where Beehire fits

Grades across six dimensions, plus a SWOT-style view of where the platform shines and where it falls short.

SWOT — strengths, weaknesses, and use-case fit

Strengths

Built-in multiposting to 1000+ premium and free job boards with partnership pricing.Pre-selection questionnaire engine with proprietary Compatibility Score for candidate ranking.Multilingual, personalised career pages and job offer pages included on all tiers.Pro plan adds automated workflows, interview scheduling, and Chrome sourcing extension.Unlimited candidate storage and unlimited users across all pricing tiers.

Weaknesses

No documented public API — all data access is through the Beehire UI, making programmatic extraction and migration difficult. No native bulk-export function; candidate and job data must be exported record-by-record or via manual CSV dumps.Pricing is tied to active job-posting limits, not user seats — growing candidate volumes are not directly reflected in pricing.Custom pipeline stages and automation workflows are Pro-gated and must be rebuilt on most alternative platforms.Beehire's employer branding assets (page layouts, styling) are platform-specific and not reusable after migration.

Where it works

Small-to-mid-size European companies (10–150 employees) running fewer than 30 active job postings simultaneously and needing broad, multi-country recruitment reach across Belgium, the Netherlands, France, and German-speaking markets.Teams with no dedicated HRIS developer or IT resource that want an all-in-one recruitment stack covering job distribution, career pages, candidate communication, and pre-selection screening in a single tool.Recruitment teams managing high application volumes on single roles who rely on Beehire's compatibility score and automatic candidate sorting to reduce manual screening effort.Companies hiring across Belgium's Dutch–French–German language regions that need multilingual job offer pages and career sites without maintaining a separate CMS or web agency.HR teams at early-stage or growing companies with fewer than 10 active roles who benefit from the Starter plan's free coaching session to achieve a guided first hire.

Where it struggles

Growing companies with hiring needs exceeding 30 concurrent active postings, where the Pro plan's posting cap forces expensive over-provisioning or forces users to manage workarounds.Teams requiring programmatic data access, custom reporting, or integration with in-house HR systems: Beehire has no documented public API and no native bulk-export, making automated or large-scale data extraction impossible without manual record-by-record work.Organisations with complex multi-stage hiring workflows that require custom pipeline stages, conditional automation branching, and custom email templates — all Pro-gated features that mid-market teams lose if they ever need to downgrade.Companies planning an eventual platform switch: Beehire's employer branding assets (page layouts, styling) and custom pipeline configurations are not portable and must be rebuilt from scratch on any replacement platform.

What gets migrated

Beehire object support

Object-by-object support for Beehire migrations. Per-pair details surface during scoping.

Jobs

Fully supported

Beehire's core Job object contains the title, description, multilingual pages, status, and job-board distribution metadata. We export all published and archived jobs with their associated pipeline assignment. Job limits per tier (1–10 on Starter, 30 on Pro) are source-side constraints we flag before migration.

Candidates

Fully supported

Each applicant lands as a Candidate record with name, email, phone, application date, source channel, and current pipeline stage. Beehire stores unlimited candidates on all tiers; we pull the full candidate pool including those in archived or rejected stages.

Pipeline Stages

Mapping required

Beehire's pipeline is fully customisable: admins define stage names, order, and automation triggers. We export the pipeline as a structured list and reconstruct it on the destination ATS. Custom stage names that have no direct equivalent are preserved as labels.

Pre-selection Questionnaires

Mapping required

Jobs can have pre-selection questions with a Beehire-proprietary Compatibility Score (0–100) calculated per candidate. We export the raw question text and the score. Not all destination ATS platforms have a native compatibility-score concept, so we map it to a custom field.

Video Interview Questions

Mapping required

Beehire supports deferred (async) video interview questions per job. We export the question text and the candidate's recorded responses as media URLs. If the destination does not support async video, we flag the responses for manual handling.

Automated Emails and Templates

Mapping required

Pro-tier users have custom email templates and automated workflow triggers. We export template content and trigger conditions. Automated workflows tied to Beehire-specific events (e.g., a specific compatibility score threshold) require re-building on the destination.

Candidate Tags

Fully supported

Tags are free-form labels applied to Candidates by recruiters. We export the full tag list per candidate. Tags map cleanly to most destination tagging or label systems.

Interview Scheduler and Calendar Integrations

Mapping required

Pro-tier includes an interview scheduler linked to the recruiter's professional calendar. We export interview records (date, time, interviewer, status) as separate scheduling objects. Calendar integration settings are not portable and must be reconfigured on the destination.

Employer Branding Assets

Mapping required

Personalised multilingual job offer pages and career pages live in Beehire's branding module. We export page URLs, copy, and logo/banner assets as files. Style and layout are Beehire-specific and must be rebuilt on the destination CMS.

Chrome Extension (Beehire Sourcing)

Not in this platform

The Beehire Sourcing Chrome Extension is a Pro-tier browser tool for active candidate discovery. It has no exportable data and is not migratable; the team must re-onboard the extension on the destination workflow.
