Object-by-object support for Kartra migrations. Per-pair details surface during scoping.

Contacts (formerly Leads)

Fully supported

The central Kartra object, renamed from 'Leads' in October 2024. Standard fields (name, email, phone, address, company) map cleanly. We export oldest-to-newest to preserve lead creation order and replicate the original sequence in the destination system.

Custom Fields

Mapping required

Kartra supports five field types: input_field, text_area, drop_down, radio_button, checkbox. All custom fields appear in the CSV export. We read the Kartra field schema via API to determine types and apply appropriate mapping to destination field formats, which vary by CRM.

Tags

Mapping required

Tags are stored as comma-separated strings in the Kartra CSV export. We parse and split them into individual tag records at the destination. Note: Tags applied retroactively (e.g., 'form completed') are present; untagged behavioral events are not captured at all.

Lists

Mapping required

Kartra Lists are exported as comma-separated values per contact. We split list memberships into individual destination list or segment records. If the destination CRM uses a different list/segment model, we map list names to the closest equivalent.

Transactions

Mapping required

Kartra exports transactions as a separate CSV from the contacts export. We map transaction fields (amount, product, date, payment method) to destination objects. Note: 'Total spend' is explicitly NOT exported by Kartra; we cannot migrate historical revenue data.

Subscriptions

Mapping required

Subscription records export separately from contacts. We map subscription status (active, cancelled, paused), start date, and associated product/membership. Kartra does not export subscription revenue totals directly.

Memberships and Courses

Kartra does not export membership access or course enrollment data in any standard CSV export. This information is not available for migration unless the customer manually exported it or used tags to track access events.

Sequences (Automated Email Sequences)

Sequences are Kartra automation workflows with multiple steps, delays, and conditions. They do not export as structured data. We cannot migrate sequence logic; customers must rebuild sequences at the destination using exported contact data as a seed.

Forms

Form definitions and submission records are not exported via Kartra's standard CSV. Forms completed are absent from the export unless each completion triggered a tag. Form structure must be rebuilt at the destination.

Surveys

Affiliates

Mapping required

Affiliate sign-up events are tracked in Kartra's API events system. We can map affiliate relationships to the destination CRM's affiliate or partner object where supported, using tag-based triggers as the source of record.
