Overview
Infor SyteLine and Infor CloudSuite Industrial are the same product under the hood — SyteLine is the on-premises engine; CloudSuite Industrial is the cloud-hosted presentation built on the Infor Mongoose platform. Both share the same SQL Server or DB2 back-end schema, the same ION API layer, and the same data model built around orders, jobs (production), and inventory. Acumatica is a cloud-native ERP with a REST/OData API, unlimited-user licensing, and branch-aware inventory and manufacturing modules. The migration carries everything SyteLine stores natively: customer and vendor masters, contacts, inventory items with BOMs and routings, open and closed sales orders, purchase orders, production orders (jobs), lot/serial number history, and costing layers. Acumatica's branch and warehouse model means multi-site SyteLine customers need branch and location setup in Acumatica before inventory lands. SyteLine's job tracking (production orders with operation-level labor and物料) requires mapping into Acumatica's Production Orders and Material Requirements modules — this is the most technically involved object in the migration. Infor SyteLine custom fields, user-defined fields, and WinStudio customizations require field-by-field auditing and manual Acumatica equivalent creation. We use SyteLine's SQL views and ION API for data extraction, Acumatica's Import by Scenario and REST API for ingestion, and a sequenced approach so master data resolves before transactional data (vendors before POs, BOMs before production orders).
Every standard and custom field arrives verified.
AI proposes the map; you confirm before any record moves.
Parent–child, lookups, and ownership stay linked.
Calls, emails, meetings — with original timestamps.
Documents, uploads, and inline notes move with the record.

Object mapping
Each row shows how a Infor SyteLine / Infor CloudSuite Industrial object lands in Acumatica, including any object-level transformations, lookup resolution, or schema-design dependencies.
Typical mapping — final map is confirmed during the sample migration step.
Infor SyteLine / Infor CloudSuite Industrial
Customer / Ship-To
Acumatica
Customer + Customer Location
1:1SyteLine stores customers and ship-to addresses together. Each SyteLine customer becomes an Acumatica Customer record; each SyteLine ship-to becomes an Acumatica Customer Location linked by CustomerID. Primary ship-to defaults as the main location in Acumatica. Customer class maps to Acumatica Customer Class for AR posting rules.
Infor SyteLine / Infor CloudSuite Industrial
Vendor
Acumatica
Vendor + Vendor Location
1:1SyteLine vendors migrate as Acumatica Vendors with one or more Vendor Locations. AP account class in SyteLine maps to Acumatica Vendor Class for posting. Remit-to addresses become additional vendor locations. Vendor contact records migrate to Acumatica Contact records linked to the vendor.
Infor SyteLine / Infor CloudSuite Industrial
Contact (Customer / Vendor)
Acumatica
Contact
1:1SyteLine contact records for both customer and vendor entities map to Acumatica Contacts. Each SyteLine contact becomes a Contact record in Acumatica, linked to either a Customer or Vendor entity based on its source. ContactOwner resolves to an Acumatica user by matching the email address. The Contact Class field in Acumatica differentiates between customer contacts and vendor contacts within the unified contact directory, preserving the original relationship type.
Infor SyteLine / Infor CloudSuite Industrial
Inventory Item (Stock / Non-Stock)
Acumatica
Inventory Item
1:1SyteLine stock and non-stock items map to Acumatica Non-Stock and Stock items. Item class maps to Acumatica Item Class for posting and warehouse settings. The source item ID becomes the Acumatica Inventory ID. Lot/Serial tracking flag in SyteLine (Item Master) controls whether Acumatica requires lot or serial number tracking on the item.
Infor SyteLine / Infor CloudSuite Industrial
Bill of Materials (BOM)
Acumatica
Bill of Materials
1:1SyteLine multi-level BOMs map to Acumatica Bills of Materials with version control. Each BOM revision in SyteLine becomes a distinct BOM version in Acumatica. Phantom BOMs in SyteLine translate to Acumatica phantom BOMs. BOM line quantities and scrap factors are preserved. Routings linked to BOMs in SyteLine Engineering map to Acumatica Material Routings.
Infor SyteLine / Infor CloudSuite Industrial
Routing / Work Center
Acumatica
Work Centers + Labor Rates
1:1SyteLine work centers map to Acumatica Work Centers with labor rates and machine rates. Operation sequences in SyteLine become steps in Acumatica's Material Routing. Crew size and efficiency factors in SyteLine's routing translate to Acumatica's labor size and efficiency fields.
Infor SyteLine / Infor CloudSuite Industrial
Sales Order
Acumatica
Sales Order
1:1Open SyteLine sales orders migrate to Acumatica Sales Orders with line items, scheduled shipments, and warehouse assignments. Order types in SyteLine map to Acumatica Order Types for AR posting and fulfillment workflow. Completed and invoiced orders migrate as historical records for reporting continuity. Customer PO number maps to Acumatica's Reference Nbr. field.
Infor SyteLine / Infor CloudSuite Industrial
Purchase Order
Acumatica
Purchase Order
1:1Open SyteLine purchase orders migrate as Acumatica Purchase Orders. Line items, vendor part numbers, and promised dates transfer. Completed POs with open receipts migrate as historical records. Landed costs on SyteLine PO lines map to Acumatica shipment landed cost entries. Branch ID on PO lines maps to Acumatica's branch-aware warehouse assignment.
Infor SyteLine / Infor CloudSuite Industrial
Job (Production Order)
Acumatica
Production Order
1:1SyteLine jobs are the most complex migration object. Each job carries material allocations, operation-level scheduling, labor tickets, and close status. We map SyteLine job status (Released, Complete, Closed) to Acumatica Production Order status (Balanced, In Process, Completed). Material issues in SyteLine become material allocation and issue entries in Acumatica. Operation labor from SyteLine job tickets maps to labor entries on Acumatica production operations.
Infor SyteLine / Infor CloudSuite Industrial
Quote
Acumatica
Quote
1:1SyteLine quotes migrate to Acumatica Quotes. Quote lines with configured items (if SyteLine CPQ is used) require material and labor line translation. Expiration dates and quote status map to Acumatica Quote expiration and active/closed status. Quote type in SyteLine determines Acumatica Quote type for opportunity linkage.
Infor SyteLine / Infor CloudSuite Industrial
Project / Job Costing
Acumatica
Project + Project Task
1:1SyteLine project tracking (engineer-to-order cost tracking) maps to Acumatica Projects with tasks per phase. Budget vs. actual cost tracking in SyteLine translates to Acumatica Project budget lines and actuals. Non-project transactions in SyteLine link to a default project in Acumatica for reporting continuity.
Infor SyteLine / Infor CloudSuite Industrial
Lot / Serial Number History
Acumatica
Lot/Serial Number History
1:1SyteLine lot and serial number genealogy records — tracking where lots were built and what components they contain — migrate to Acumatica Lot/Serial History tables. Transaction timestamps and warehouse location assignments from SyteLine transfer to preserve the full movement timeline. For engineer-to-order lots with strict traceability requirements, we establish explicit lot references directly on the corresponding Acumatica production order to maintain complete backward traceability through the manufacturing chain.
Infor SyteLine / Infor CloudSuite Industrial
Account (GL)
Acumatica
GL Account
1:1SyteLine GL accounts map to Acumatica GL Accounts using the same account code structure where possible. Account segment mapping depends on SyteLine's chart of accounts design — single-segment charts map 1:1; multi-segment charts map to Acumatica's branch/department segments. Subaccount structure in SyteLine maps to Acumatica subaccounts.
Infor SyteLine / Infor CloudSuite Industrial
User-Defined Fields (UDFs)
Acumatica
Custom Fields
1:1SyteLine UDFs on any entity (customer, item, order, job) require a custom field in Acumatica on the equivalent screen. We audit all SyteLine UDFs before migration, create Acumatica custom fields in the target entity's screen, and map UDF values during data migration. UDF data types (date, number, text, list) map to the closest Acumatica field type.
Infor SyteLine / Infor CloudSuite Industrial
Warehouse / Site
Acumatica
Branch + Warehouse
1:1SyteLine sites (multi-warehouse) map to Acumatica Branches, each containing one or more Warehouses. If SyteLine uses a single site, we create one Acumatica branch with a default warehouse. Inventory balances per SyteLine site become on-hand quantities per Acumatica warehouse. Inter-site transfers in SyteLine become inter-warehouse transfers in Acumatica.

Notes and attachments use a separate linked table structure
Implementation timelines frequently run 3–9 months end-to-end
Pair-specific challenges
Migration approach
Audit SyteLine schema and extraction vectors
We connect to your SyteLine SQL database (on-premises or dedicated) and/or ION API to map every table and view we will extract from. We audit user-defined fields on all major entities, identify multi-site configuration, review active job (production order) statuses, and document the SyteLine chart of accounts structure. This audit produces the Extraction Plan — a table-by-table inventory of what will migrate, in what sequence, and via which extraction method (SQL view or ION API).
Design Acumatica branch, warehouse, and custom field schema
Before any data lands, your Acumatica team (or our team) creates the branches, warehouses, GL account structure, and custom fields that the SyteLine data maps into. We deliver a Schema Setup Plan that maps every SyteLine site to an Acumatica branch, every SyteLine UDF to an Acumatica custom field, and every SyteLine account segment to the correct Acumatica GL dimension. Master data (customers, vendors, inventory) cannot be fully validated until the Acumatica schema is in place.
Sequence master data migration in dependency order
We migrate master data in strict order: GL accounts first (posting destination), then customers and vendors with their locations and contacts, then inventory items with their class assignments and UOMs, then BOMs and routings, then warehouse on-hand quantities. Each layer resolves foreign keys for the next — a customer location needs the customer record first; a BOM needs its component items already in Acumatica. The sequence is documented in the Migration Sequence Plan delivered with the Schema Setup Plan.
Run sample migration with field-level diff
A representative slice — typically 200–500 records per major entity — migrates first into the Acumatica sandbox or a non-production company. We generate a field-level diff: source SyteLine value vs. destination Acumatica value for every mapped field, plus unmatched records and missing required fields. You review the diff, confirm BOM routing translations, validate production order status mapping, and sign off before the full migration runs. This is the reconciliation checkpoint.
Execute full migration with delta-pickup window
The full SyteLine database migrates into Acumatica. We run the sample as a final validation gate, then execute the full cutover. A 24–48 hour delta-pickup window captures any records created or modified in SyteLine during the migration run. All operations are logged to an audit trail. If reconciliation finds unexpected record counts or missing data, one-click rollback reverts the Acumatica company to its pre-migration state while SyteLine remains untouched and operational.
